Green Tavern is one of the oldest bars in all of Michigan, having been going strong in the very same location since 1944. It's a family owned business of course, which just may be the secret to standing the test of time! They've got food and drink specials every single day that will help you to save a few bucks while also having a really great time. We love coming in on Wednesdays for karaoke with Butch and Jenny, and of course there's Club Keno, Texas Hold 'Em, and Trivia to keep you busy when you're not singing your heart out. Happy Hour lasts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday thru Friday (now that's what we're talkin' about!), and you can score a beer for just a buck seventy five, and a bucket for just ten!
They've also got really great Detroit sports specials during every televised Red Wings, Tigers, Pistons, Lions (one buck beers if they score!), Spartans, and Wolverines games, plus NASCAR Sundays mean one buck beers on caution flags! They've also got some really incredible thirty five cent wings (red hot or classic breaded) during every Red Wings game, every Lions game, and during Monday Night Football!
